New record by CVN77!

The air craft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN77) was magnetically treated in a record three days!

The CVN77 was depermed in a record 3 days in the beginning of Mars 2012. This is less than half of the time previously used.
As Polyamp is the OEM of the Degaussing system on CVN 77, we are off cause very proud as we feel that we are one of the reasons of this success!

Polyamp receives the Raytheon Supplier Excellence Award

Åtvidaberg March 17, 2010 - Polyamp AB was recognized for its quality and performance by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. Polyamp received the Five Star in the Supplier Excellence Award at a ceremony held on March 2, 2010.

Raytheon recognizes its suppliers based on three important factors: on-time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement. The Five Star is the highest rank within the Supplier Excellence Award.

600V & 1200V power supply for Solar cells and electric car applications

Laboratory power supply intended to test solar cell inverters, electric- and hybrid car development and switch mode 3-phase equipments like motordrives and power supplies.

The Delta Elektronika's new Labb power supply SM600-10 provides 0 - 600Vd.c. 0-10A. Its designed such 2 units can be series connected to supply 0-1200V with high electrical safety. For extrenal control an insulation amplifier is built in. New types of solar cells work upp to 1200V.

Delta Elektronika's SM6000 series are silent 6kW power supplies with temperature controlled fan. The design also made to minimise EMC influence.

Train orders

Polyamp are specialised in producing DC/DC converters aimed for train and underground applications. At the moment Polyamp are delivering to a large underground project for the train company Bombardier, in this case for the Indian Movia Delhi Underground. The trains are produced in Germany and in India. According to the Delhi underground operator the work is before schedule.

CVN 77 (George H. W. Bush)

In the middle of year 2008 Polyamp delivered an Advanced Degaussing Systems (ADG) to the worlds largest aircraft carrier, the CVN77 which is the last carrier of the Nimitz class. Polyamp is the OEM for the Advanced Degaussing System. The US Prime to Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding Inc. is the Texas based company, Controlled Systems Inc., which Polyamp has trained to support the Polyamp designed and manufactured ADG during the installation onboard the CVN77. The CVN77 ADG system is the largest ADG system Polyamp has supplied. It has more than 360kW installed power. The ADG delivery builds on Polyamp's proven record ADG technology and brings the USN the most modern Degaussing systems on any USN carrier. The Polyamp ADG on the CVN77 consists of multiple modularized computer network controlled coil amplifiers housed in so called Coil Supply Cabinets (CSC) distributed throughout the ship. The Degaussing control is centralized through a Degaussing Control Unit (DCU) using ships navigational input data and other data. The control is totally automatic and the operator can set parameters at ranging through an Operators Interface Unit (OIU) or alternatively from a software functionality at the range site.
