Service Technician to Polyamp

Polyamp develops and manufactures its own AC/DC and DC/DC converters, known for their high reliability in demanding environments. We are also specialists in systems for mine protection equipment for Swedish and international naval forces, as well as sensors that measure electric fields underwater – with both civilian and military applications. We are currently in an exciting growth phase and are expanding our organization with a new Service Technician. Our headquarters are located in Sollentuna, and production takes place in Åtvidaberg, where this position is based.

As a Service Technician at Polyamp, you will have a varied role with a clear purpose – ensuring that our products always maintain the highest quality. You will work with testing and troubleshooting across our wide range of products and systems, using electrical diagrams and measurement equipment as essential tools. The work also includes production-related tasks such as cable routing, assembly, and installations. The position is mainly based at our facility, but over time, you will also perform service and installations at customer sites, involving travel both within Sweden and internationally.

We believe you are a curious, analytical, and solution-oriented person who enjoys combining technical knowledge with hands-on work. You find technology exciting and are not satisfied with simply knowing that “something is broken” – you want to understand why. You have the ability to work independently, take responsibility for the quality of your work, and have a strong desire to develop. You also possess a natural ability to meet customers in a professional and trustworthy manner.

We would prefer that you have a background in electrical engineering – either through education or practical work experience. Perhaps you currently work as a Service Technician within electrical systems, home electronics, or HVAC and are looking to take the next step in your career. Or maybe you are an electrical designer seeking a position in a flat organization where you can help develop troubleshooting and testing procedures.
